Llano
The platform aims to bridge the gap between audiences and the core ideas behind the artwork.
Llano is a Mexican platform showcasing artists whose work emerges from extensive research in fields such as science, history, technology, and overlooked communities. It emphasises immersive approaches, offering deeper insights into the origins of the artwork beyond traditional exhibition formats.
The exhibition spaces transform into diverse settings, from an open field atop a former textile factory in Mexico City to volcanoes, jungles, deserts, oceans, mountains, urban landscapes, and historical landmarks. Each project begins as an expedition into the environment that inspired the artist, presenting works in their natural context.
The platform aims to bridge the gap between audiences and the core ideas behind the artwork, inviting viewers to experience art from new and symbolic perspectives.
