Gianfranco Composti, heir to the artistic tradition of the historic Toselli Gallery & Co.,founded in 1997 Ca’ di Fra’, a 'container' in which he fits his contemporary Art collection.

The gallery’s interests are open to the variety of contemporary languages: from the authors of the neo-avant-gardes of the second half of the 1900s to the current scene, from African art to design, from comics to historical and experimental photography. The list of artists who have exhibited in its rooms is very long: from Nanda Vigo to Grazia Varisco, Mimmo Rotella, Alighiero Boetti, Gio Ponti and Ugo La Pietra.
