The Milan-based art gallery was founded in 2015 by Irene Crocco, inspired by “Via Saterna”, the name of an imaginary street, a world of mystery and magic where dream and reality intertwine, described by the writer Dino Buzzati in one of his works. From here came the idea of the almost-namesake gallery as a place of exchange for people and ideas. Today, VIASATERNA explores all art practices, still holding a strong focus on photography.
