Anne Barrault
Anne Barrault gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Marais founded in 1999.
Working from the outset with a cast of emerging artists, Galerie Anne Barrault has held a number of first-time solo shows over the years.
Among the gallery’s roster are emerging artists like Neïla Czermak Ichti, who paints family-oriented figurative works; Canada-based painter, writer, and poet Tiziana la Melia; and conceptual artist Stéphanie Saadé, known for her enigmatic works. Galerie Anne Barrault also works with several established and mid-career artists. Among them are painter and Fine Arts professor Dominique Figarella; Alun Williams, UK artist and co-founder of the Triangle France Association; painter of eclectic and mystical scenes, Guillaume Pinard; comic illustrators Killoffer and Jochen Gerner; and filmmaker and curator Marie Losier. Galerie Anne Barrault additionally represents an older generation of artists, including Swiss object artist Daniel Spoerri and Italian photographer Gabriele Basilico. The gallery also works with the estate of Parisienne artist and cartoonist Roland Topor, a figure linked to the Situationist International, Cobra, and FLUXUS, among other movements.
Galerie Anne Barrault has published monographs on many of its exhibited artists, including Pinard, Williams, and Ramuntcho Matta.
