Anne-Sarah Bénichou
The gallery represents artists of different generations, emerging and established.
Founded in 2016 in the Marais district of Paris, Galerie Anne-Sarah Bénichou represents 16 artists of different generations, both French and international, emerging and established. The wide diversity of practices and backgrounds among these artists helps to promote individual voices with singular perspectives on the world, while fostering dialogue between different periods and varied forms of art (painting, photography, sculpture, performance, installation and drawing).
Each exhibition seeks to question contemporary sensibilities, and more specifically the place and form of contemporary art within society. Over the past nine years, the gallery has established its presence on both the French and international art scenes, working alongside collectors and art professionals with a single aim: to support culture, the arts and artists.
The gallery also pursues publishing activities, regularly producing catalogues and books on its artists. Numerous academics, critics and curators contribute to these initiatives, offering in-depth insights into the artists’ work.
It participates in many fairs in France and abroad, including Art Basel, Paris Photo, Arco Madrid, Art Brussels, Art Genève, Art Paris, Independent, and Artissima.
