Brigitte Mulholland

Brigitte Mulholland, formerly a senior director at Anton Kern Gallery in New York, has launched her own gallery in Paris, situated in the former storefront of a real estate agent on Rue de Turenne in the Marais. This area, transformed from a working-class neighbourhood into a museum district in the 1960s, saw a rise in property values. The gallery’s relocation might be seen as a subtle reversal of this trend, though the real estate agent has merely relocated to Rue Réaumur. The gallery’s inaugural group show, “Le vernissage, partie deux,” follows an earlier exhibition and features 36 artists including Katherine Bradford, Sarah Dwyer, and others.
