Galleries

Polaris

The Polaris Gallery, founded by Bernard Utudjian, is a gallery of contemporary art, located in the Marais, in Paris.

15 Rue des Arquebusiers

After opening in 1989 on rue Saint-Claude, the Polaris Gallery relocated in 2009 to its current premises at 15 Rue des Arquebusiers in Paris’ 3rd arrondissement.

The gallery has always been dedicated to presenting young artists, many of whom have held their first exhibitions there. It represents around twenty artists, including Yto Barrada, Sara Ouhaddou, Marcos Carrasquer and Speedy Graphito. Ranging from video to drawing, painting to photography, and sculpture, the gallery does not seek to showcase the newest media, but rather the diverse approaches through which artists express themselves today. It places particular emphasis on building lasting relationships between artist and gallery, as well as with institutions and collectors.
