Imane Farès
Founded by Imane Farès, the gallery champions contemporary artists whose work bridges cultures, ideas, and innovative practices.
Founded in 2010 by Imane Farès in Paris, the gallery was established to promote contemporary artists from diverse cultural backgrounds. Initially emphasising Africa and the Middle East, reflecting the founder’s Lebanese and Senegalese heritage, the gallery has since expanded to include voices from a wide range of regions.
Renowned for redefining the landscape of contemporary art, Imane Farès Gallery represents artists whose work is rooted in rigorous research and inquiry. Their practices address fundamental questions about society, politics, history, and identity through varied mediums, including installations, sculpture, film, photography, drawing, literary and theatrical work, music, and curatorial projects. Driven by experimentation, the artists engage deeply with ideas, creating work that inspires critical reflection beyond aesthetics.
Founded by Imane Farès the gallery represents emerging and established contemporary artists from the Middle East and Africa.
