Founded in 2010 by Nils Müller, Ruttkowski;68 is a contemporary art gallery with locations in Cologne, Düsseldorf, New York, and Paris. The gallery embraces a diverse range of contemporary art practices, including painting, sculpture, and time-based media, maintaining a non-hierarchical approach across various artistic scenes. Representing both emerging and established artists from fine arts, fashion, pop culture, and youth movements, the gallery bridges high and low art. Originally named after DJ Sven Ruttkowski, the gallery has expanded significantly, including a Paris location in 2018, a Düsseldorf space in 2021, and a New York gallery in early 2023. It also engages in curatorial projects and international art fairs.
