Galeria Athena Contemporânea

Directed by Filipe Masini, the gallery was founded in Rio de Janeiro in 2011. Its main goal is to introduce Brazilian and international artists within a contemporary context, to address the concerns and trends of the Brazilian art scene.

Galeria Athena Contemporânea develops a program guided by conceptual and intellectual rigour, considering the diversity of cultural and artistic manifestations. Thus, they have been working with artists who produce in several media, such as painting, video, sculpture and design.

By promoting contemporary art, the gallery works to create and manage projects developed by the represented artists, in addition to exhibitions, and national and international fairs.
