Located in São Paulo, DAN Galeria was founded in 1972. Its founders, J. Peter Cohn and Gláucia S. Cohn, aimed to promote in their space the main artists of the Brazilian modern art landscape. When their son Flavio Cohn joined his parents at the conduction of the gallery, he created a department of contemporary art and opened the collection to the artworks of established Brazilian and international contemporary artists.
