Art Labor Gallery began with a focus on emerging Chinese and international artists. One of the first galleries to locate in the city’s French Concession, it is now an art destination. The gallery helped nurture the unique talents of now well recognized artists Lu Yang, Ying Yefu, Lu Xinjian, while showing internationally renowned artists such as Douglas Coupland, Koen Vanmechelen An Te Liu, and Germaine Koh.
