Spazio Berlendis is a newly-opened art space in the neighbourhood of Cannaregio, in Venice, funded by Emanuela Fadalti and Matilde Cadenti, ever active in art and architecture in the city. The two started the restoration of the former carpentry of the Squero Fassi (Fassi Shipyard) (known as Squero Vecio, the Old Squero), the oldest one in Venice, and the result is an architecture harmoniously merging contemporary and the original structure. Its 300-square-meter space makes it the ideal venue for exhibitions and events.
