Alchemilla
Alchemilla is a multifunctional space dedicated to visual and performing arts born in 2019 from a fortunate encounter between people already involved in the cultural sphere: artists, curators, collectors, performers, critics and art lovers. From the very beginning, the conviction that has united those involved is that art constitutes an inalienable humanistic and social value, from here the desire to create a place for confrontation between disciplines, generations and languages.
In recent years, Alchemilla’s community has been enriched by new members, supporters and partners who have given rise to site-specific projects, unprecedented collaborations and experiments. Even before naming the work by Cuoghi Corsello in 2004, which entitled the first exhibition held in these spaces in 2018, Alchemilla is a plant capable of transforming morning dew into pearls and preserving its healing power.
The association encourages collaborations with special attention to young talents, and the coexistence, meeting and exchange between artists, curators, performers and intellectuals, whether passing through or in residence. The annual programming is characterised by an interdisciplinary approach that includes: exhibition projects, ateliers residencies, performances, meetings, workshops, presentations.
Founding partners: Camilla Sanguinetti (Architect), Fulvio Chimento (Curator), Claudia Baccarani (Journalist), Elisa Campagnaro (Graphic Designer), Ragia Kaja A. (Designer), Antonella Malaguti (Editor) and Andrea Panzavolta (Facilitator).
