Cell Project Space

Cell Project Space is a non-profit contemporary art gallery and artist studios founded in 1999 in Bethnal Green, East London. Originally established as an artist-run space, it became a registered charity through Cell Foundation in 2014. The gallery supports emerging, mid-career and underrepresented artists through experimental exhibitions, new artistic production and public programmes. Its Cell Studios provide affordable workspaces for artists, generating income that supports the gallery’s independent programme and long-term sustainability.
