La Quiñonera

One of Coyoacán’s great cultural and community centers, La Quiñonera has for over 30 years been a driving force in Mexico City’s artistic life. Founded in 1986 as an alternative space during a time of social and political change, it became a meeting point for musicians, filmmakers, writers, and visual artists who sought new creative paradigms. Today, it continues to question power, embrace transformation, and reflect on the human condition through art.
