Cité Internationale des arts

Since its founding in 1965, the Cité internationale des arts has welcomed artists from around the globe to participate in its residency programs, fostering cross-cultural dialogue and collaboration. Located on two sites in Paris—one in the Marais district and the other in Montmartre—the Cité serves as a vibrant meeting place for artists, the public, and art professionals. In partnership with 135 French and international organizations, the Cité hosts over 300 artists each month across various disciplines for residencies lasting up to one year. These programs offer artists a unique environment to develop their work and engage with a diverse creative community.
