Institut des Cultures d’Islam – Léon

An artistic institution of the City of Paris, the Institut des Cultures d’Islam is a contemporary arts centre devoted to the diverse cultures of Islam, located in the Goutte d’Or neighbourhood of Paris’s 18th arrondissement. Through exhibitions, concerts, talks, screenings and discussions, workshops and activities for younger audiences, the ICI explores the richness and diversity of Islamic cultures.

Combining artistic and cultural approaches, the ICI seeks to challenge preconceptions and foster a space for dialogue and exchange, while supporting and promoting artists in France and internationally whose work is inspired by the cultures of Islam.

The ICI is spread across two sites, ICI Stephenson and ICI Léon. The latter includes a charming inner courtyard, where the restaurant’s tables are set among vines and fig trees during the warmer months.
