Le 19M

Le19M and the Galerie du 19M embody a triple role: to create, exhibit and transmit. Designed by Rudy Ricciotti, Le19M preserves and passes on the Métiers d’art of fashion and decoration. Initiated by CHANEL, it serves as a hub dedicated to craftsmanship, bringing together under one roof eleven Maisons d’art, their teams and archives (Atelier Montex, Goossens, Desrues, Lemarié and Atelier Lognon, Lesage and Lesage Intérieurs, Maison Michel, Massaro, Paloma, Studio MTX), as well as the École Lesage and ERES, representing nearly 700 artisans and experts.

Le19M also houses the Galerie du 19M, a cultural space open to the public since January 2022. Focused on the values of craftsmanship, its multidisciplinary programme of exhibitions, workshops and talks is developed in collaboration with local communities. It reflects the growing interest of younger generations and the wider public in handcraft, shaping a collective project dedicated to knowledge-sharing and cultural engagement.
