Tonus

Tonus is an artist-run space founded in 2014 by the duo Jacent (Jade Fourès-Varnier and Vincent de Hoÿm). The project emerged from a desire to support and promote emerging local and international artists, providing a platform for experimental exhibitions by new and rising talents. Tonus is rooted in a spirit of conviviality, generosity and authenticity, with a programme centred on exhibitions developed in close collaboration with invited artists and curators. Over the years, Tonus has established itself as an important force in the renewal of Paris’s alternative art scene, bringing visibility to an entire generation of artists.
