S’ALA

S’ALA is a space dedicated to education, training and production in the field of contemporary performing arts. Located in the heart of Sassari, it is both a physical venue and a space for dialogue, where art, social engagement and politics are understood as deeply interconnected.

S’ALA offers courses and workshops in contemporary dance and performing arts, while also presenting a programme of public events, including performances, open rehearsals and improvisation jams.

Conceived as a place of encounter and exchange between the local community and the international artistic community, S’ALA supports research and performance-making projects through its artist residency programme, as well as the work of its Supported Artists programme (Artist_ Sostenut_).
