Spazio Ilisso

SPAZIO ILISSO is an exhibition centre dedicated to the production and promotion of art and culture. Established in December 2019 by the publishing house Ilisso, it was conceived to share over 35 years of experience in research, publishing and exhibition-making.

Alongside access to its archives of applied arts, SPAZIO ILISSO presents, through a permanent display, one of the most significant collections of twentieth-century Sardinian sculpture and ceramics.

Through exhibitions, talks, educational workshops and artist residencies, SPAZIO ILISSO explores the many languages of creativity, including the visual arts, poetry, music, dance, theatre, literature, cinema, photography, design and craft.

With a strong focus on the social context and the challenges of the present, and with the conviction that museums should serve the wider community, SPAZIO ILISSO aims to play an active role in fostering the cultural and civic development of the region.
