Recontemporary

Founded in 2018 as a cultural association, Recontemporary explores the impact of digital technologies on contemporary art. In 2024, the association became a foundation, enabling it to further expand its activities in the field. Through exhibitions, workshops and educational programmes with schools, the foundation fosters collaboration and dialogue between institutions and artists at an international level, offering a comprehensive and up-to-date perspective on an art form in constant evolution.

Recontemporary is committed to advancing knowledge, research, education, dissemination and promotion in the field of contemporary art, as well as organising activities that support these aims. It seeks to encourage and promote artistic practices in all their forms, fostering interdisciplinary exchange and connections between individuals, institutions and associations. To this end, it organises cultural and educational initiatives, alongside events that engage with the artistic and creative practices of its participants.
