Ca’Buccari

Ca’Buccari is an independent nonprofit organization based in Venice, Italy.

An exhibition and project space, a residency, studio, public kitchen, and screening room, Ca’Buccari occupies five former storage units and storefronts – connected by an arched arcade to the public park of the Pineta di Santa Elena, the Grand Canal, and the lagoon – on the eastern tip of Venice.

Situated within walking distance of the Giardini della Biennale, Ca’Buccari develops and hosts exhibitions, workshops and research residencies for and with artists, architects, curators, neighbours, and researchers from all cultural backgrounds and interests, actively engaging with the contemporary Venetian social, political, and spatial context.
