Sharjah Heritage Museum

The Sharjah Heritage Museum investigates the different environments where Emirati people used to live in the past, from coastal areas to mountains and rural areas, also reflected in their varied habits, lifestyles, and crafts. The museum’s collection highlights the distinctive traits of the Emirati people, their warm hospitality, their important celebrations and ceremonies, and their knowledge of science in the past. After some renovations, the museum re-opened in 2012, in Bait Saeed Al Taweel Al Shamsi, in the heart of Sharjah.
