Museo Novecento Firenze
Opened in 2014, Museo Novecento is dedicated to 20th-century art and presents a selection of works of Italian art of the first half of the 20th century. Part of the permanent exposition comes from the Alberto Della Ragione collection, donated to the city of Florence in the aftermath of the 1966 flood, with artworks by Giorgio De Chirico, Filippo De Pisis, Gino Severini, Giorgio Morandi, Mario Mafai, Renato Guttuso, Felice Casorati among others. The museum organizes temporary exhibitions focused on the great masters of the 20th century and the new generation artists, in an international horizon of confrontation. It also organizes special projects at the Forte di Belvedere, Museo Stefano Bardini and Palazzo Vecchio.
