MACAM – Museu de Arte Contemporânea Armando Martins

MACAM – Museu de Arte Contemporânea Armando Martins – presents a collection of Portuguese modern art, as well as national and international contemporary art, assembled by the collector Armando Martins since 1974 and still in development.

In addition to its permanent collection display, the museum organises temporary exhibitions and a programme of talks and meetings related to its exhibition activity.

MACAM is structured around the concept of the House of Private Collections, a space designed to make privately held collections accessible to the public and to host other collections on a temporary basis.
