V&A East

Located on East Bank in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, V&A East Museum explores the connections between art, design, fashion, performance and contemporary culture. Its two free permanent galleries, Why We Make, feature over 500 objects from the V&A’s collections, bringing together works from different periods and cultural contexts. The museum also presents temporary exhibitions, a programme of commissions by artists including Tania Bruguera, Es Devlin, Lawrence Lek and Carrie Mae Weems, exploring the area’s histories, communities and creative futures.
