Born as a new system of public asset’s private management, the Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza arises from the Fundación Colección Thyssen-Bornemisza in 1992, increasing in 2004 the number and diversity of temporal exhibition, educational programs and activities, along with the enlargement of the Palacio de Villahermosa. Giving a special attention to participatory projects under standards of high quality and constant innovation, the Museum aims to be a benchmark of the Spanish cultural offer.
