The Deering Estate

The Deering Estate preserves the 1920s-era Miami estate of Charles Deering, Chicago industrialist, early preservationist, environmentalist, art collector, philanthropist, and first chairman of the International Harvester Company. In keeping with Deering’s vision, the estate supports emerging artists and collaborates with arts institutions locally, regionally, and internationally, offering a globally recognised artist-in-residence programme and connections to major museums in Chicago and Spain.
