Wolfsonian – FIU

1001 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach

The Wolfsonian, part of Florida International University since 1997, is a museum and research centre in Miami Beach that houses over 200,000 objects spanning art, design, and material culture. Its collection includes European and American works, with extensions to Latin America, Asia, and Africa, ranging from household objects and architectural plans to propaganda and design innovations. Housed in a 1927 Mediterranean Revival building, transformed in 1992 into a state-of-the-art museum, The Wolfsonian serves as a hub for exhibitions, scholarship, and public engagement.
