The Zsolnay Cultural Quarter, one of the most prestigious projects of the city of Pécs as Cultural Capital of Europe in 2010, operates two contemporary exhibition spaces: the downtown Pécs Gallery with a past going back to 1977; and M21, opened in 2011 on the premises of the former Zsolnay porcelain factory.
