Museo Zoologico P. Doderlein

The Museo Zoologico P. Doderlein houses collections featuring thousands of Invertebrates and Vertebrates.  The exhibition paths contribute significantly to the understanding of animal diversity and biological evolution and emphasise the need to conserve natural environments. The museum, an important point of reference for the scientific culture and centre of study and conservation of the Sicilian and Mediterranean zoological material, gives visitors the same atmosphere in which the zoology scholars worked in the second half of the nineteenth century.
