Villa Zito

The historical building of Villa Zito hosts the Fondazione Sicilia’s picture-gallery, a collection of over a thousand paintings that Banco di Sicilia acquired during the XX century. The pieces span four centuries, from the Seventeenth to Twentieth one, featuring artworks by some of the great masters of Italian artistic traditions such as  Mattia Preti, Bernardo Strozzi, Luca Giordano e Salvator Rosa among the others. The display of graphic works, on the other hand, concerns the theme of cartography.
