BnF Museum

5 Rue Vivienne, 75002 Paris, France

The BnF Museum presents the richness and diversity of the Library’s collections, from Antiquity to the present day. Almost 900 exceptional works are displayed across the historic Richelieu site, including books, manuscripts, jewellery, coins, maps, prints, costumes and photographs. The route includes the Column Room, Louis XV Salon, Mazarin Gallery and Rotunda, each offering a distinctive view of the collections. Works are regularly rotated due to their fragility, while an annual thematic display provides a renewed perspective on the Library’s heritage. It also organizes contemporary art exhibitions.
