Cité de l’architecture et du Patrimoine

The Cité de l’Architecture et du Patrimoine is a state-owned public institution established in 2004 and opened in 2007. Bringing together a museum, architecture centre, school, specialist library and archives centre, it promotes architecture and heritage through education, research and cultural programming. Its activities include exhibitions, publications, conferences and competitions, while the École de Chaillot trains heritage architects. The Cité also supports contemporary architectural creation and sustainable development through international partnerships and the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture.
