Musée Rodin

77 Rue de Varenne, 75007 Paris, France

The Musée National Auguste Rodin, showcases the works of France’s greatest sculptor within the elegant Hôtel Biron, an 18th-century mansion surrounded by a French-style garden. Established in 1916 following Rodin’s donation to the French State, the museum offers a serene and harmonious setting where visitors can explore Rodin’s masterpieces. Chosen by the artist himself, the Hôtel Biron features 18 rooms filled with sketches, plaster casts, and sculptures, all illuminated by natural light. The collection highlights Rodin’s creative journey, with iconic works like The Kiss and The Walking Man, alongside pieces by Camille Claudel. The museum’s garden, home to the famous Thinker, adds to its allure, making it one of Paris’s most cherished cultural sites.
