Musée Yves Saint Laurent
The Musée Yves Saint Laurent Paris, inaugurated on 3 October 2017, showcases the work of the legendary couturier in the historic setting of his former couture house at 5 Avenue Marceau. Over 450 m², the museum presents thematic temporary exhibitions that highlight the rich heritage preserved by the Fondation Pierre Bergé – Yves Saint Laurent, offering insight into the genius of Yves Saint Laurent and the haute couture creation process. More than a monographic museum, it reflects the 20th century’s history and the now-vanished art of living that haute couture once embodied. Designed by scenographer Nathalie Crinière and decorator Jacques Grange, the museum maintains the original ambiance of the couture house, making it the first major museum in Paris dedicated to a great 20th-century couturier.
