Seoul Arts Centre – SAC

The Seoul Arts Centre is one of the leading arts and cultural facilities in Korea. It is home to an opera house with 2,300 seats, a concert hall, a theatre, two museums and a library.

After the opera house was badly damaged by fire in December 2007, urgent action was taken to rehabilitate the upper stage machinery. Within a very short time, Waagner-Biro delivered 150 hoists for the upper stage machinery and the reliable CAT-control system. The remaining stage equipment was installed in cooperation with a local company.
