Gallerie dell’Accademia

The Gallerie dell’Accademia has on display masterpieces of Venetian paintings, both from Venice and the wider Veneto region, as well as artworks spanning from the Bizantine and Gothic 14th century to the Renaissance masters—Bellini, Carpaccio, Giorgione, Veronese, Tintoretto, and Tiziano—through to Gianbattista Tiepolo, and the Vedutisti of the 18th century, including Canaletto, Guardi, Bellotto, Longhi. These artists have significantly influenced the entire history of European painting.
