Parkett

Parkett defines itself as a "large library and a small museum of contemporary art"

Quellenstrasse 27, Zurich, Switzerland

Parkett collaborates directly with compelling international artists. To date it has published one hundred and one volumes with over 270 in-depth monographic artists’ portrait.

Next to collaborating on the selection of the authors, pictures and the design, each artist also creates a signed and numbered edition especially for Parkett, which may take any form, from prints, objects and installations to unique works of art. Since 1984, 270 works from artists in more than forty countries have joined “Parkett’s Musée en appartement”, making the quarter century project both a large library and a small museum of contemporary art.

The list of collaborating artists includes among many others Ai Weiwei, El Anatsui, Laurie Anderson, Georg Baselitz, Matthew Barney, Louise Bourgeois, Maurizio Cattelan, Francesco Clemente, Olafur Eliasson, Tracey Emin, Urs Fischer, Peter Fischli/David Weiss, Damien Hirst, Rebecca Horn, Ilya Kabakov, Anish Kapoor, William Kentridge, Jeff Koons, Yayoi Kusama, Christian Marclay, Ernesto Neto, Beatriz Milhazes, Bruce Nauman, Meret Oppenheim, Gabriel Orozco, Sigmar Polke, Gerhard Richter, Anri Sala, Cindy Sherman, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Luc Tuymans,  Andy Warhol, and Yang Fudong.
