Kaskadenkondensator

As a complementary artistic venue, Kaskadenkondensator plays an independent role in the context of the Basel art institutions. It functions as a flexible structure in which artists and theoreticians work together at the interface of art and meditation, stimulating the dialogue between artists and those interested in art. A central concern is to give young artists and art educators freedom and thereby to promote them. Furthermore, the cascade condenser seeks and maintains networking and cooperation with urban and regional initiatives and institutions, with other independent art spaces in Germany and abroad. The place itself is available to artists and art educators as open space and field of experimentation. At the same time, the cascade condenser also stands for a solid and sustainable artistic programme.
