kunsthallekleinbasel is an independent artist-run initiative which runs self-supporting. Founded in 2014 by the Swiss artist, curator and educator Jasmin Glaab the initiative was located an inhabited apartment where over 40 one-day exhibitions took place focussing on the presence of the artists and collective experience. Since 2018 the initiative is based in a shared studio in the center of Basel and hosts around 10 exhibitions a year.
Since 2016 kunsthallekleinbasel has been regularly participating to independent art fairs such as: Supermarket Independent Art Fair Stockholm, The Others Art Fair Turin, Hybrid Art Fair Madrid or Platforms Project Athens.
