Gallery 19

Gallery 19 is housed in a corner building on Lazaretská street and presents Slovak and Czech visual art of 20th and 21st century. Its characteristic feature is the variety of genres. It supports mainly local artists, but hosts foreign works too.
The gallery holds a new exhibition each month and takes part in the annual “month of the photography“ event. When it comes to the Slovak artists, the gallery collaborates with the Central European House of Photography. Gallery 19 organizes also different accompanying events, such as literary or music evenings.
