Located in a quiet district, the building complex of red-bricked houses was formerly a quarantine base and later a slaughterhouse. From 2001 on, the village was renovated to become a creative community, home to around 20 cultural organisations. Today Cattle Depot Artist Village is an independent and non-profit art complex, and a creative platform for local artists and groups.
