Fringe Club

A vibrant contemporary art space, offering a platform for creatives' freedom of expression

2 Lower Albert Rd, Central, Hong Kong

Established 30 years ago, the Fringe Club in Hong Kong is an art platform, with all the facilities for emerging and established contemporary artists and performers to show their works in Hong Kong. Based inside an old 1890s colonial building, the place has been renovated with a brand new identity to become a landmark institution in the vibrant and rapidly-growing creative scenario of the city. Over the years, the Fringe Club has hosted numerous festivals, original theatre, dance, and site-specific pieces; arranged international tours, artistic residencies, and overseas presentations, such as the Shanghai Expo 2010 and the 54th Venice Biennale 2011, among the others.
