Alfa Gallery

Alfa is an artist-run contemporary art space with an international reputation for curating cutting-edge exhibitions, supporting artists’ careers, and collaborating with collectors. Since its founding more than a decade ago, it has identified and developed the careers of visionary and emerging artists. Its mission is to provide a platform for artistic practice, encourage creativity and experimentation, and work with national and international venues to present museum-quality group exhibitions.

Alfa’s exhibitions offer contextual frameworks for engaging with its artists’ work, and the organisation represents a wide range of national and international practitioners across all visual media.

Established in 2003, Alfa was one of the pioneering art spaces in the Miami Design District and Wynwood. It later relocated to North Miami, adjacent to the Museum of Contemporary Art at MOCA Plaza, becoming part of the emerging Miami art scene. Subsequent moves included the Brickell Historic Financial District and, most recently, Space 01, a loft-style building with bay views. Alfa also maintains an office team in Chelsea, New York, extending its international presence.

Alfa offers a renewed approach to the gallery model through its artist-run structure.
