The Bakehouse Art Complex is a non-profit arts organisation at the heart of South Florida’s creative scene, fostering artistic development and collaboration for nearly four decades. Housed in a former Art Deco industrial bakery, the complex provides affordable studios and residencies for over 100 resident and associate artists working across painting, sculpture, printmaking, metal and woodworking, photography, digital media, performance, and more.
The Bakehouse supports artists through professional development, workshops, studio visits, community outreach, and exhibitions of new work. It welcomes the public through twice-annual Open Studios and daily visits. A master plan is underway to guide the future development of its 2.3-acre campus, ensuring a sustainable ecosystem where artists and the arts can thrive in Miami.
