Laundromat Art Space

5900 NE 2nd Avenue, Little Haiti

Laundromat Art Space is an artist-led organisation dedicated to supporting the development of local artists. Its mission is to provide innovative curatorial opportunities and artistic programming for the wider community.

Established in 2015 by a group of artists who had recently completed residencies at other respected organisations, the founding vision was to create a distinct space of their own. Today, Laundromat Art Space operates in a beautifully transformed former laundromat located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Little Haiti in Miami, Florida.

The venue encompasses 4,500 square feet and includes 11 studios as well as a gallery. Laundromat Art Space is recognised for its contemporary art exhibitions, showcasing a diverse range of local, national, and international works. The organisation is distinguished by its commitment to fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary artists, offering resident artists a unique and inspiring environment.
