Casa das Caldeiras

Casa das Caldeiras is an industrial building from the 1920s, that used to function as electrical energy generator for industries. Here the association ACCC – Associação Cultural Casa das Caldeiras was born, to promote the generation, on this site, of new kinds of energies, namely artistic, cultural and social ones.

The ACCC comes up as a centre of fusion between the artistic, cultural and social spheres and as a fertile ground for artists, researchers, civil society, public and private institutions to produce new perspectives of socio-cultural action for the city. With this goal, the organization carries out partnerships with public and private organizations to promote events and projects of collective interest.
